How much is the cost of credit of each master's program?

A- The cost of credit of each master is $143.31 USD. For additional information go to Financial Services and/or contact the HFU Finance Office at finances@hfu.edu

What are the available methods to make payments?

A- You can send payments to HFU through PayPal, Wire Transfer and Check/Money Order; the last one for United States of America residents only. For additional info consult Payment Methods in the Financial Services section.

What are the advantages of studying at HFU?

A- Studying at HFU has many advantages, among them; you can study from home, office or other location that has internet connection. You do not need to leave your home or work to study, you can study at times that it is mostly convenient.

Is HFU accredited?

A- HFU has begun in the process of submitting documentations to the Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA).

How much time takes the Masters to be completed?

A- According to the program structure and nature of the courses the student may complete a Master degree in 2 years and a half. This period is not fixed but approximation because also depends of the accomplishments of the student.

When the program for new students begins?

A- All applicant who has completed the admission process by or before April 30 of each year and has been admitted to HFU will begin studying the second Sunday of July of the same year or when certified by the Office admissions.

How many courses can I enroll for a class' session?

A- HFU divides the academic year in four (4) sessions. During the first academic year courses are distributed as follows: one (1) course will be offered in the first session, one (1) course will be offered in the second session, two (2) courses in the third session, and one (1) course in the fourth session. From the second year onwards academic course offerings per session is 2, 1, 2, 1.

How long is each course?

A- Each course lasts 10 weeks.

How many hours should I devote to study for each course?

A- It is estimated that by spending seven (7) hours a week of study per course is necessary and sufficient to acquire the knowledge and skills required.
